We discovered this beautiful card on the Audrey Pettit Blog. I recommend stopping by for a visit. You will truly be inspired. Thank you Audrey for allowing us to share your design.
Audrey used one of the SEI lines, Field Notes. Sometimes it’s not so easy to keep our cards flat enough to mail in a regular envelope, but with the Field Note’s gorgeous patterned papers and amazingly detailed butterflies, creating a “mailable” card was an absolute pleasure. Great news, when I wrote this article the 6X6 paper pad was on sale for $2.49. So be sure to stop by the SEI site.
Audrey started out by layering Field Note’s gorgeous patterned papers, distressed the edges, and added a fussy cut frame and butterflies. I like how she hand-stamped the sentiment on a pendant & attached it to the card with little bit of stitching. She wrapped a bit of bakers twine around the base and pleated a strip of paper doily for just a bit of texture, and a touch of glitter adds some much welcome sparkle.
My hope is to inspire you to be fearless when it comes to your creativity, to try new things and most important to have fun.
Thanks for visiting and have a very creative day.
