Your Smile Brightens My Day

Sometimes giving a handmade card is more of a gift than the actual gift you are giving.  I hope today’s post will inspire you to create a beautiful handmade card for that special friend you love.  This gorgeous card was made by Debbie Olsen.  Debbie always has wonderful and inspiring cards to make.  Be sure and visit Debbie’s blog Thinking Inking for more of her outstanding creations.

Your Smile Brightens Up MY Day

Debbie used the Rose Garden Background Cling Stamp from JustRite.  She stamped the background of her card in Lipstick Red chalk ink.  The  sentiment being the focal point of the card was stamped with Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five Clear Stamp set.  Also with the same stamp set she stamped the butterfly, cut it out and popped it up with pop up dots.  Last she hand-dyed the seam binding with Copic inks.  To make a double bow shortcut just tie a second bow and use a mini glue dot to attach it on top of the first one.

Creativity involves in breaking out o your traditional style.  Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
