Becoming a mother is a very important event in your life. On the day of the baby shower everyone wants to make a special something for the mother to be and to celebrate her very special day. There are lots of endless ideas that you can do, however she will always go back and read and treasure the homemade card that you created for her. This is such a great way to show the mother to be love, appreciation, and passion to her on her special day.
Today’s darling card is created by Lou Daubney who is a wonderful design team member for Dies to Die For. You can find many inspirations on her blog Loopy Lou’s Loopy Thoughts. Lou went for the big 8 x 8 card. She paper pieced her dress up and colored the rest of her with her pro markers. She added some fun stickers from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy mini kit. She stamped the sentiment that comes with her on a scrap of pink cardstock. Next, she did some die cutting other scraps to get an assortment of fishtail banners that she layered up at the side. Adding a little enamel dot onto the edge gave it a perfect look of a brad.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your tradtional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
