Mason jars have been quite the trend for a while now. For some crazy reason I never get sick of them, and creating cards with the image of a mason jar is so much fun! This is one of those versatile designs, all you have to do is switch out the sentiment and you have any occasion you might need.
Special thanks go out to Monique’s Vintage Nest for sharing this wonderful card. To start this card pick your pretty Spring/Summer colors. The base of the card is cream-colored cardstock, and just adding pieces of patterned paper on top of that. Use a border punch for the bottom part of the card and then sew the two pieces together using a sewing machine.
Add some lace and seam binding, along with a tag that is inked around the edges. For your card add a sweet sentiment for your occasion. The mason jar is from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Collection. Adding felt shaped hearts and a flower die cut, along with two leafs and a bit of twine to finish it all off.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
