Hope for a Baby’s Heart

We see in our scrapbooking industry all of the fun resin products.  Do you ask yourself: I love these, but how do you incorporate them into a scrapbook page?  Today’s inspiration is a beautiful layout with resin angels.  This will give you a great idea how to use these when you scrapbook.  This layout has so many fun embellishments that tell the story of this adorable baby.  Thank you to Sue Lelli a fabulous design team member of Eclectic Paperie for sharing this sweet scrapbook layout with us.  Sue has her own blog too, called Card Therapy.  Make sure to stop by and say “hello.”

Baby's Love

Metal and wood gears, clocks, and a heart outlined with Sakura Glaze pen were added to the top right corner of the photo.  Every element has significance.

Baby's Love

On the left side of the photo more heart gears, ruler, time pieces, wood flower, and a butterfly made of cork.  All of these pieces represent the story of this sweet boy who is waiting for heart surgery.

Baby's Love

The sweet resin Angels were painted with Silks Acrylic Paints by Splash of Color.  The colors used are Emperor’s Gold for the wings and African Jade toned down with a little Gesso for the letters.

Baby's Love

For the background paper Sue used a Prima Doily stencil and used embossing paste to give it some texture.

Baby's Love

The embossing paste needed a little color so she painted the stenciled pattern with Silk Paint in African Jade mixed with Gesso and added outline to the hearts with her Sakura Glaze pen.

Baby's Love

After creating her beautiful background she added her photo and embellishments.  Such a beautiful layout that certainly touches your heart.

Thank You for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day crafting.
