You just can’t go wrong with this timeless color scheme. There is something about black, light pink & cream that always catches my eye. It’s equally at home on a birthday card as it is on this sweet Valentines’s Day card designed by Melody Rupple author of A Paper Melody. I highly recommend stopping by anytime you need a burst of inspiration.
Melody used My Favorite Things stamp set designed by Lisa Johnson, Love’s the Ticket for the focal point of her card & the background was created with the Woodgrain Background Stamp .
The ticket was stamped using “Loves The Ticket” Stamp Set & was cut out of Grout Grey Card Stock using the coordinating Die-namics, Ticket Note. Don’t you love the soft grey accents.
The sentiment was cut out with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. The doily was created with the Heart Doily Die-namics.
Sometimes we get so wrapped up on the outside of our cards that we don’t always give the inside the attention it deserves. I love how Melody carries the same theme but reversed the colors of the sweet heart doily die cut.
Thanks for visiting & I hope you have a very creative Day!
