Happy Friday, everyone! This has been a wonderful short week me. I love holiday weekends and the chance to visit with family who don’t live nearby. We all had a wonderful time.
This week I get to share with you a fabulous new tool from Perfect Paper Crafting. A little over a month ago they announced their ‘Perfect Portfolio‘ and let me tell you, it is pretty close to being perfect! And the colour, I love it! The purple cloth fabric makes me smile!
When I first went to open up the portfolio and started playing with it, I was super impressed with the quality of the magnets. When they say it is magnetic, they are serious! This portfolio has a series of magnets that helps it stay shut tight to hold your projects in for transporting. There are magnets in the top portion of the portfolio that make it seem like a clip board but without any metal pieces to damage your projects. The magnets even help to hold your pen to the portfolio when you place it in your bag. Although I only received one portfolio, so I cannot tell you that I have tried this myself, the video also shows how the magnets help you to keep multiple portfolios together which is a fabulous concept as well.
So how exactly does the Perfect Portfolio work and what is it going to help you with? Before I show you how I used it, here is a video from our friends at Perfect Paper Crafting.
Isn’t that cool? I have not had the Perfect Portfolio for long, but in the short time I have had it, I have found lots of ways to use it during the day. Here are a few of the ways I used it.
Sometimes when I am working at my desk, I like to see my projects held up instead of flat on my desk. I was recently working on a few project life pages so I hung up the page protectors and set up the Perfect Portfolio like an easel. This allowed me to easily see the pockets I was filling and a number of the photos I was considering using on those pages. This easel feature is very cool!
This image shows that you can hang your card from the strong magnetic top and work on them while they hang from the easel. I liked that my card was not sliding around my desk as it made it easier to attach the tiny little die cut pieces for the Cute Fruits faces.
This last image shows the way I used the Perfect Portfolio the most. I really enjoyed being able to have something strong and sturdy on my lap while I was colouring my stamped images. It allowed me to work at the desk, on the couch, at the hockey rink, and even the rehearsal hall. The Perfect Portfolio slipped nicely into my purse and held my current project tight while keeping it clean. I pulled it out whenever I had a few spare moments to colour.

Love this portfolio! I use clipboards and find them clunky and ugly. The Prefect Portfolio looks great – small and pretty! I will probably get one for my son for his homework too. Do they make a 12 x 12 size? I have a 12 x 12 clipboard I use a lot for scrapbooking, but I hate the clip.
I can be found crafting every where, but mostly in the dinning room and wherever the family is gathered.

I have been experimenting with coloring and watercolor pencils. This could help me work anywhere.
This would be a wonderful tool to use while sitting in my easy chair adding color to projects.
I do most of my crafting at scrapbooking or card making crops since I don’t have a designated spot to work at home. But, my dining room table is often covered with various projects in progress.
I have a scrapbooking room upstairs, but this Portfolio will be good for coloring downstairs while I watch the ballgame!
What an awesome crafty tool! I usually work at my craft desk, or sometimes the dining room table. But this would be perfect for when I’m on the road, or watching television!
Yep, this looks perfect! I can be found crafting in my recliner in the evenings, at outdoor concerts in the summer, and anywhere I know I’m going to have to wait a while. Why read a boring magazine when you can create right?
Seems like the perfect portfolio to go traveling with. I have a dedicated craft space at home, but it would be wonderful on the plane or train.
I have a beautiful scrapbook room, however we just purchased an RV and I could use the perfect portfolio (or two) take with me on trips as I organize my pages and add to them!! Looks like a wonderful product!!

I’m constantly wishing I could do more craft activities while watching tv in bed. This would be perfect for me!
I wish I had a designated “creativity spot” yet most of the time it is at the kitchen or living room table.
It does look perfect! I have been wanting something that is a good working surface while sitting watching tv at night and I LOVE purple!!
I sketch out ideas wherever I can grab 5 minutes! At swim lessons, at the end of the counter while making dinner, and sometimes, even at my craft table.

This looks fabulous! I often take images along to color in the car while I’m waiting at school pick up. I’ve been meaning to look for a clipboard to lean on but this would be even better because it wouldn’t damage the paper.
I’m lucky enough to have a dedicated craft room, but I like to color while sitting outside or while watching TV. This is a very clever tool!

This is such a awesome and neat product! I am always complaining to my family about how I wished there was something like this because I have health issues so I am often creating and coloring from my bed or my recliner because it has become hard for me to sit at my desk, kitchen table, and floor which is where I used to craft. I also do some coloring/crafting in the car and in the woods when my daughter has her Archery Tournaments. So this product is one tool that I am going to have to get! It will make things so much easier for me. So excited that there is finally a product like this, now my family won’t have to hear me complaining.

I see so many ways these would be a joy and help. I love to make cards and scrapbook and it would be a wonderful way to keep my power layouts organized for each grandchild. I also teach on a team for my women’s Sunday class. It would allow me to divide up the text into what I am studying by week. As I research I could place everything in the proper weeks portfolio. Looking forward to having some soon!

Love to curl up in my chair by the fireplace and watch tv while coloring. What a perfect tool for this.
The magnetic feature intrigues me as my hands have a difficult time holding the paper and coloring at the same time. Now I could concentrate on my coloring which needs practice!

I do a lot of my crafting in the living room. This would be great to use when sitting in my recliner, as it would making coloring my card projects so much easier! This would also be great to use while on vacation in the hotel room.

What a coo idea this is! Although I usually craft in my scrap room, since the weather has been getting warmer, I find myself crafting outside on our new deck more and more. What a great tool this would be to help me to have a great place to scrapbook!
I just got my own room to craft in last Christmas! It is an amazing room with pocket doors for privacy, and some built in book shelves along one wall for storage. I painted it purple and decorated it with pictures my daughter drew or with projects I have made. I have a loveseat that I can lounge on too! It is cozy and a wonderful space to be creative!
I could use this while at the car races waiting for either my hubby, son or grandson to races. A 12×12 would great for doing layouts
I take needlework with me to church – oddly enough I am not the only one that listens better with my hands busy, so there is a “crafter’s corner” going on… I do most of my scrapping at the dining table, so the portfolio would be wonderful for works-in-progress. I would love to take small projects to the T-ball or football field, too!

I would love to have one of these. I work a full time job and then most evenings and weekends I take care of my mother. Since I’m not home I drag crafting supplies with me. This would help keep everything in one place for paper piecing projects. I currently have them in baggies but that doesn’t help me keep them contained when I piece them together.

I have a craftbox which I keep open just enough for my chair so it is like I am in a world of my own. The other place I enjoy my crafting is at my sister’s. She has a small bedroom turned into a craft room. We enjoy creating greeting cards together, feeding off on each other’s ideas. Fun times!
I like to go to my daughter’s and craft with her and also go to the local scrapbook store classes.
WOW! That’s an awesome portfolio. That would be the greatest thing to take with you camping, soccer & little league tournaments as well elder care with older relatives/ babysitting kids. Or if you are stuck in a traffic jam for any length of time. Love the size and that it’ll fit in a tote or purse and that you would have a work surface that works ANYWERE. Oh gosh!!! This looks amazing!! I woukd LOVE to win The Perfect Portfolio. I do most of my coloring in my bed after my lil guy goes to sleep. In the summer I love to color at the beach. I craft with friends at their homes or mine. The Perfect Portfolio would be great for keeping a current project together while traveling to the group meeting.
I use the dining room table so I have room to spread out. My craft room is also used for my piano, and my table is an old small kitchen table, until I get to redo my craft room, I move stuff around!
Okay this is not as exciting as the beach but being a caregiver to my 58 yr .old mom I spend a lot of time in the Dr.’s office this would be perfect to take along to color on while I am in the waiting room.

I love the idea of the perfect portfolio. I use clipboards for just about everything and this looks ideal, especially in purple, my favorite color! I do most of my crafting at the dining room table, some of it on the living room couch, and some in bed.

I craft with friends in my ‘Rubbah’ room……..i have all of my stash in there. I am surrounded by paper, ink, stamps, embellishments………it is my favorite place in our home!

Oh the ideas coming to mind on how I want to use this. I generally get crafty at a table in my living room where I have all my supplies. But I have taken it on the road when I visit my mother or in the RV at my son’s race!
I wish I had a room of my own to create, but I don’t so I have taken over the dining room. I also sometimes go to a friends house.

I have a scrapbook room that I can literally get lost in. For some strange reason, time seems to fly when I’m in there. I love having my own space where I can leave projects and come back to them!!
I’ve often used the clear suitcase style totes to make my projects portable. the issue is that everything rattles around inside and it’s difficult to use it closed as a surface for stamping or coloring. This really looks like the perfect solution. Why didn’t I think of this??!
Well, so far I’ve only created at my craft table, I’m pretty new at card making though…so who knows where you will eventually find me. If I had one of theses, I could use it when I color and do it anywhere I happen to be at the time!! :-))

This is such a useful tool! When my friend and I get together at each others homes, there is often not enough table space. This would really come in handy to do some coloring while crafting with friends!
Impressive tool – I’m going to need two! A purple one for fun and a black one for the office.
What a wonderful way to take my needlework on the road (living room, car or airports) having the magnetic board keep track of my progress in the pattern.
The black one is sleek enough for business use, less bulky than a standard clip version, more secure, and offers privacy about which documents I’m carrying.

This does look like the perfect portfolio! I love crafting every where, it looks perfect for even my road trips with my son and two grandkids. When I’m not using it for crafting the kids can use to draw and color.
Besides crafting in the living room that I converted to a craft/ T.V./computer room, I take crossword puzzles to work on while waiting at doctor offices and the auto repair shop. With summers arrival, I will be outside, sitting at a table, doodling or coloring an image. The Perfect Portfolio will give me a stable base and work perfectly when sitting outside on a breezy day. I love to sit in the corner of my couch in my family room and work on crafts while watching TV.
While at times I enjoy sitting propped up on my bed reading a good mystery book before I go to sleep, I think I’d enjoy coloring my cards by using the Perfect Paper Crafting to support my work. That would be nice!

I craft in my craft room (lucky enough to have my own area) but I also have a two different groups of ladies who come over once a month and I show them some different projects. I don’t work so I get to do the creating and they get to reap the benefits. This portfolio would be helpful for me in my room – I’d have a place to display my ideas for the projects and would hold the projects as I’m working on them. It would be a great help in displaying the finished projects for the ladies during the card nights. So glad somebody thought about this portfolio – I have to have one.

I would love to win this portfolio, I get ideas and inspiration so many places, I could jot a layout or card design down and not loose it. I usually get ideas right before I go to bed and write it on the back of an envelope.
I love to create wherever I go! Whether it is a conference, an airplane ride, or an extended visit to relatives, I can take .a few supplies along and spend my time creatively. I especially enjoy going to scrapbooking week-ends. Anything goes! 🙂
I am so lucky to have a whole room to get creative in,,,, my son’s old bedroom is my go-to place for all sorts of scrappy fun! I go to my 82 year old sister-in-laws home on Fridays to scrapbook and card make together. This portfolio would be perfect for transporting all the instructions and small things I have prepared during the week to make our time together more fun, less stressful, and more productive for the two of us. I love this! And all those colors – wow! I create anywhere and everywhere I can, though mostly at home or at a local crop. But this would make taking a project easy. I think I would finally be able to use all those little snippets of time – waiting at school for my son, at games, by the tv, even in the kitchen waiting for dinner to cook! Very clever and very useful item.
I love coloring for stress relief, this would help me be able to be stress free outside of home. Great product!!

This looks like a must have tool. I usually work upstairs in my craft room. With the Perfect Portfolio I could join my hubby downstairs watching tv.
I like portable! I do a lot of crafting at my favorite store – The Crafting Place, but I also like to work in my dining room or on the couch. Since I’m just learning coloring techniques, this would be great to use!

Most Of The time I work in my craft room But when my husband and kids are around I drag my supplies to whatever room they are just to be together!
My official craft spot is upstairs but I set up a “satellite area” with a folding table from Costco in the area where the kitchen meets the breakfast nook and the family room so I can scrap and make cards and still be with my family.

love the thin profile of this. i spend a lot of time in waiting to pick various kids up and for baseball games to start. this would be perfect to use in the car and bleachers- sturdy, sleek, and easily portable.
I love crafting in my workshop upstairs (I have taken over the entire second level of our home!).

I would love to have one but my Granddaughter needs it. She is starting a new job and she also loves to draw. That way she could always use it for work and fun.
I color everywhere I go… restaurants, friends house, living room, craft room, copic classes, hotels… basically, I color everyday! I currently use a plastic clipboard that opens to hold additional images and it is so loved that it is warped a bit. This new item looks awesome and I believe it is what every girl that colors all the time needs!

Depends what I am doing. I do many different types of crafts. If it is something messy, I work at the kitchen table. Otherwise, I am mostly on the couch watching TV and keeping my hands busy. Occasionally I will take my crocheting outside in my backyard or while listening to music at a music festival.

I tend to do my card designing on the sofa in front of the TV. After an evening of television my lap tray is covered with a pile of scrap paper with sketches and a smaller pile of ripped and folded “samples” used to work out folds and designs.
For the last 2 months, I’ve been working out of a 28 foot trailer. I’ve had crafting supplies ALL over the place. I retire Friday and get to move to my new home….. that will have a crafting room!
My fav spots to craft are at my kitchen table, my desk or the patio table in the back yard 🙂
At the cottage on my own or on a weekend with some friends !!

If not in my craft room (which is actually my office / computer room) I like to play on the floor in the family room so I can spend time with the husband. Just got a Big Shot so I can emboss and die cut on the floor.
