In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, I thought I would share a few different holiday tag ideas with you today to get you in the mood for creating this season!
1, Chalkboard Tags
To get this look, these tags were cut from black cardstock, then stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. Last, I spread white ink over the sentiments using my finger to get that “chalkboard” effect! I’ve also added some little florals and greenery, along with red twine to finish them off. You can see more about these HERE.
2. Clear Dome Tags
These tags are created with a half dome over the top and are great for creating beautiful layered wintery scenes inside like this one!
Or this one!
3. Candy Cane Tag
These are fun little stitched tags that I’ve made with a pipe cleaner candy cane tucked inside, but you could use real candy canes also! I simply created a front and back piece of the tag and hand stitched them together, punching a hole to slide the candy cane through. The tinsel wrapped around the tag adds a sparkly touch!
4. Vellum Tag Pocket
Here I’ve created a vellum tag pocket by folding vellum in half and machine stitching along one side. I dressed up the front with chipboard, stickers and a stamped and embossed sentiment.
Each of these could be added to a card as well. I hope these tag ideas get you in the spirit of holiday creating!
