Hello, my artsy friends! I hope all is well in your world and that you’re ready to relax and enjoy some sweet inspiration. I have some fun projects to share that include cardmaking, stamping, scrapping, and even a delicious tropical-themed dinner that you and your family will love.
Purrfect Fur Baby Layout By Anita Bownds
Our furry friends are a special part of our lives so I think it’s important to include them in our scrapbooking. It’s no secret that I am a huge animal lover, so this sweet layout really inspired me to create a special album of all our pets, whether they are furry or not.
Dogs Leave Paw Prints On Our Hearts by Michelle Grant
I hope these layouts inspired you to break out those special pictures of your furry family and give them a place of honor in your scrapbooks, or maybe even a book of their own. If you’re like me, I have 100’s of pictures of my pets; I just need to get them off my phone and over to Costco for printing. Happy scrappin’!
Lots Of Love To Mum by Lucy Abrams
Mothers Day is right around the corner and no one deserves a more heartfelt card than your MUM. I fell in love with this sweet card that I discovered on Lucy’s Cards. It’s so feminine without being overly frilly. I’m sorry to do this to you, but I think the Simon Says Tea For Three dies are another one of those “needs.” 🙂
Lucy chose some Mind Mind’s Eye patterned paper to create the tower of pretty china teacups then added the die cut word and a stamped sentiment; so sweet! I think your Mum will love it.
Long Distance Friendship Card By Anna Wight
Being a New York to California transplant, this card really hit closed to home. I have many friends that live long distance and this adorable card really motivated me to send out several cards, letting those I love know just how special they are to me.
Anna used the Stephanie Ackerman’s Houses Die and the “Love At Home” Whipper Snapper Designs Cling Mount Stamp. I hope that you’ve been inspired to send one of your handmade treasures to someone special today.
Mini Recipe Box by Hilary Kanwischer
Mini albums are one of my favorite things to design – the sky’s the limit! There are no rules, so just have fun preserving those priceless photos, or in this case, your treasured family recipes.
How cute would this album be when you include your favorite family recipes and a photo of the special person who shared it. We all have our signature dishes/recipes that we pass down so why not scrap them? 😉 Hilary used the Sizzix Mini Recipe Box from the Where Women Cook collection.
Jerk Shrimp Tacos With Pineapple Salsa, Slaw and Pina Colada Crema
In celebration of warmer days, I thought you might enjoy this tropical themed dinner. The combo of spicy jerk shrimp, sweet pineapple salsa, crunchy cabbage, and the creamy pina colada crema in these tacos is absolutely amazing!
I’m ready for a taste of summer, how about you? Click here and I will take you over to Closet Cooking where Kevin has a printable recipe all ready for you along with some mouth-watering photos. Bon Appetit!
