Happy New Year to all our wonderful friends and crafters! Beginning this new year, my wish for you is to find wonderful inspiration from our Weekly Scrapper posts. I’m excited to be sharing Saturdays with you!
If you are like me, after the holidays I’m ready to start working on a non-Christmas project. With Valentines just around the corner (did I really say that?) I found a simple but very charming card that is so fun to make. I just love the color combination on this charming card, created by Jackie Pedro. Be sure and check out her wonderful blog The Scalloped Edge. You will find all the fun supplies you need from My Favorite Things to create this adorable card.
After the holidays, I also start getting antsy for some warm weather. This is a wonderful layout to create that warm, fuzzy feeling. Pull out some of your summer photos and create a beautiful layout to show them off; it will take those winter blues away. This beautiful layout was designed by Adriana Bolzon. Visit her blog AB Inspirations to see more of her outstanding designs.
Pull out your markers and have fun coloring with this adorable stamp “To Daddy” by Penny Black. Be sure and visit The Spotted Chick for instructions and supplies.
Who doesn’t love to create home décor? This beautiful art piece will be so charming to hang on your wall or set on an easel for your end table. Don’t you just love the collage at the bottom? Rhonda Van Ginkel from Scrappity Dappity Doo created this fun home décor piece using Bo Bunny products.
Last, but not least! Who doesn’t love to snack while crafting? Today I have a wonderful recipe for Spiced Caramel Apple Cake Roll to share with you from Crazy For Crust. This is one of my favorite flavor combos. Give it a try; I am sure you won’t be making it only once!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s fun creations and have found some inspiration to get you started for the new year.
Here’s a little more information about me and my family:
I live in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. I am married to my best friend who is a wonderful, supportive, and loving husband. I have three daughters and three grandchildren, who are my pride and joy. There is nothing more important to me than my family. I have been working in the paper crafting industry for 18 years, and with Scrapbook Expo for almost 14 years. I am very blessed to work with such amazing people and for such a wonderful company.
My love and passion has always been scrapbooking and I have enjoyed the journey every step of the way. I would have to say my favorite style would be vintage and shabby chic. I really enjoy “paper manipulating” whether it be in the form of die cuts, embossing, flower making, or just distressing. I love to use ribbon, lace, pearls, and unique embellishments. I love to challenge myself with new styles and techniques all of the time. Throughout my life, I have always kept some kind of scrapbooks and journals. Journaling is the most important part of my creations.
I teach workshops at our consumer shows and you can also find me at the registration desk. I have a great love for teaching and enjoy sharing ideas, tips, and products. When I am not on the road traveling with Scrapbook Expo, I write articles for Weekly Scrapper. I love to be inspired and to see beauty in everyday life.
Thank you for your visit and I hope you a wonderful day. See you next Saturday!
