Happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful week. This week I would like to tell you all about a cool company called Write It Designs. This blog post will feature their planners. Next month I will tell you all about their fully customizable planner pads and notebooks. So let’s get started.
When you visit the Write It Designs website, you can choose from a number of different planners. All the planners have the same content, but you get to choose the cover pattern which in turn determines the colours of the inside content. I chose the Hello Today Teal Dot planner. These planners have one of my favourite features. They are coil bound! I learned many years ago that because of the way I read and write in my notebooks and planners, that I need everything to be coil bound.
Given that it is the beginning of January, I knew that I would use this planner for the 2016 calendar year. As soon as my daughter saw the planner, she grabbed it and said that it would be perfect for school because the planner is not dated so you can start it on any day and month that works for you. Too bad for her, as this one is for me. I can see ordering a planner for her in my future though!
When you open the planner, there is a full 12 month foldout spread housed behind this fabulous quote. I like how each time you peel back the cover this is what you are going to see, something positive and lively!
Next up in the planner are three years worth of mini calendars. It is always helpful to be able to look both forward and backwards from the current date. For each month you will then find a full month view as well as a week by week view.
I have been sick this week so I don’t have a lot of tasks listed each day, but on a normal week, these checklists would be filled with organization!
The open space at the bottom is perfect for making notes that are not day specific. I like to jot down things I need to buy and places I need to go sometime during the week.
Each month also has a to do list for the month. I quickly added reminders for things I want to accomplish this month. Having them written down here will give me a bit more pressure to actually finish them.
At the end of the planner, there is a plastic envelope to hold loose items. For now, I have tucked in the extra stickers I ordered for adding the dates to the planner and for marking special events and occasions.

I would like to win a planner because I make cards for one group and other crafty items for another, plus challenge cards. It is really hard to keep track of everything and this would help immensely.
I love organizational ideas… it will help me schedule my classes/shopping at the Scrapbook Expo in Chantilly!
Unfortunately I have tons of doctor appointments and keeping track of them is a full time job! This planner would be perfect to keep track of my appointments and my medicines. I would be able to write when each prescription is due and wouldn’t run out of any of my meds again! I would also be able to keep track of medicine changes so I can be sure the medicines are doing what they are supposed to since we sometimes change prescriptions in the hopes that they will be a better fit and it can get kind of confusing trying to remember when the change took place and when I am due to have blood taken to see what effect the new meds have had on my issues.Thanks for the chance to win a planner that seems to be the one that will really be a good fit for my needs! I love planners!!! I am a bit OCD (ok maybe more than just a bit) and have to have everything planned and organized. To write it down, helps me to remember and I love having it available for my hubby so he knows where I will be. I’m a mom going back to school and I need a good planner to help keep me organized with homework deadlines, paper due dates, kid’s school meetings, doctor and dentist appointments for everyone; plus all the bills and other paperwork I have to keep track of. I could use a really good planner!

I was a Franklin Planner user many many years ago!!! I love the colors and the design of this planner so much better! Customization is the name of the game when it comes to planners.
Thanks for telling us about these really handy planners. As a teacher, I could use a better one to keep track of all the thousands of things I must do (meetings, training, assemblies, field trips, students’ birthdays, and of course, family and friendship fun and obligations. Who doesn’t need a good planner? Think of how my more awesome my life would be when its organized and in such a fashionable way. Simply because I have Six children, 6 rescue kitties, 4 snakes, 9 rats, a tarantula, numerous crickets, 2 leopard geckos, one Mediterranean house gecko, and a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house, plus jobs to keep up with! Whew!

I made it my new year’s resolution to start a new planner/daily smashbook to help track my daily life. My daughter uses a planner and loves it. I am just getting started, so I haven’t really bought much product, so I can’t wait to try out some of these products in mine!

I would love to win a planner but not for me , my oldest daughter is so unorganized and having OCD myself it drives me bonkers! LOVE this planner. Love the colors and especially the 3-year look ahead. People always ask me why I have a paper planner and I’m such a visual person, if I write the info down, I’m so much more apt to actually remember it. Plus, there is just something about the feel of paper and seeing your entire schedule at a glance. Sooo much better than online calendars!
