I usually love symmetry on my cards, but once in awhile it’s fun to live a little and go “off the edge” – with my design, that is!
Today I have a little card set that was made with the Make It Market: Don’t Forget to Write kit. I die cut the card base from white cardstock and die cut the colored cardstock circles, then trimmed the circles flat on the edges with scissors. I love how the design goes off the edge!
The striped stamp was stamped around the circle in a coordinating color, then I added some preprinted flowers. “Sending” was die cut with the kit dies, and I used an ink blender to add color to the bottom of the word.
Do you prefer symmetrical designs, or will you try a design “off the edge”? I’d love to see what you are making!
Nice cards thanks for shareing!
Love these! Just my style! Thanks!
I like your off the edge card very much. It is still well balanced and more interesting.
