Saturdays With LeAnn

Springtime Basket

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Welcome back this beautiful Saturday morning! The weather here in Utah has been so lovely. With the new season comes more sunshine and lots of pretty flowers. This is a great time to shake off winter and tackle some new projects. Spring is just around the corner, so I hope to bring you some springtime inspiration for your next creation!

It’s A Girl By Delaina Burns

This is an adorable baby layout that will steal the heart of any new mother.  Don’t you just love the feminine details and the pretty, soft colors?  This gorgeous baby layout was created by the very talented Delaina Burns.  Whether you just had a baby or a new grandchild, this is a layout that you must create.

It's A Girl

Delaina created this page using the Vintage Baby Collection from Maja Designs. The soft papers give this a monochromatic feel and enhance the sweet photo.  I definitely will have to create one of these for my granddaughter’s photos.  Click here and you will see how Delaina created her layout and the supplies she used.  This is one of those “must do” to put on your “to do” list!

Celebrate By Jennie Atkinson

How many of you have a box of leftover papers?  Recently I moved into a new home, and I was ashamed at myself when I realized that I had four large boxes that were nothing but scraps!  It was a great eye opener to me that I need to start using those papers instead of only collecting them.  This darling card caught my eye when I realized it was created using Jennie’s scraps.

Celebrate

You will be so surprised at all the beautiful things you can create with your scraps! Jennie pulled her papers together and used layering stencils, distress inks, and a fun stamp from the Classics #13 stamp set by Tim Holtz.  Come with me over to Country View Crafts where you will see a variety of the same style cards using different papers.  You will also find a supply list of what you need to create these beautiful cards.

Hello There By Nichole Heady

I love cards!  Whether they are simple or detailed; cards are as fun to make as they are to receive.  I just love sharing the finished product with the special people in my life.  You can create them by adding beautiful papers, embellishments, and then finishing them off with sweet sentiments. This one is for all of you very talented stampers and card makers.  I love the fun and simple stamping techniques that Nichole used on this adorable card.  This is a perfect card to make it into a shaker card.

Hello There

Springtime Basket By Gloria Stengel

I don’t know about you but I am certainly ready for spring.  Creating this darling little basket will take you away from the winter blues, and will also have you one step ahead on a spring décor item for your home.  I am crazy about the vibrant color combination that Gloria chose; I just love aqua and pink together.

This would make a great home décor piece for Easter just by adding some decorated eggs, candy, or even more flowers tucked in the basket.  Click here and you will see how Gloria created her basket.  Have fun creating! 🙂

Peanut Butter Banana Energy Bites By Becky Hardin

Let’s start out by saying these are unbelievably quick and easy to make.  They are chock full of protein, and oh, are they tasty!  These healthy bites of energy are so good for all of us. I am one who loves sweets, so I have to say at first I was hesitant when I saw “Energy” in the title.  After making these, I now have a favorite treat!  I love that these no bake energy bites are great treats that you can feel good about feeding your kids.  My grandchildren love them!
