Welcome back to another wonderful weekend! I hope this Saturday brings some time for you to relax. I have the privilege of seeing many beautiful projects and sharing them with you. My desire is that today’s projects will bring you inspiration and ideas for your own creating. I hope you will be inspired to pull out your fun products and begin to create things that will make you feel happy and accomplished.
We Are Family By Allison Davis
When I have multiple family photos to include on a page, I often switch to a pocket style layout. This is such a great way to add several photos to your page. In order to take the complication out of scrapbooking, Project Life is a way to simplify the process of scrapbooking. The simple design is stylish and makes it possible for you to complete more pages in less time.
It is also fun to create traditional scrapbooking layouts to mix in your albums along with your pocket pages. Above is a great example of this. I love that you can mix both styles in the same album and create a customized album. Photo overlays are also a great way to add some interesting elements to a photo. If you haven’t tried to create a Project Life album, I encourage you to do so. You will be so impressed with how you created your own one-of-a-kind album as you add your personal touch. You are sure to become addicted to creating these and you won’t stop at just one! Click here and I will take you over to the Simple Stories blog; you will find a sketch from Allison on how she created her darling pages.
Love Is Sweet By Michele Kovack
I love cards! Whether they are simple or detailed, cards are so fun to make. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it is a great time to get started making your cards. Pull out your lace, ribbons, sequins, glitter, etc. You can create one by adding beautiful papers and embellishments, including sweet sentiments, and then share your finished product with the special people in your life.
This adorable card was created by Michele Kovack; click here to find how she created it. Don’t procrastinate getting your cards done – Valentine’s Day is just a little over two weeks away! I am sure your loved ones will treasure one of your handmade cards!
