I hope this new year has started out well for you, and you have been able to get into your craft room and create some fun projects. My challenge for you this year is to break out of your traditional style. Take a look at your projects in a different way and never hesitate to try something new. There is never a right or wrong to crafting; so let your imagination run wild and have a fun time creating!
Love By Gabrielle Pollacco
I instantly fell in love with the beautiful and warm feeling that this layout portrays. I admire the talent that Gabrielle has for layering and creating such beautiful masterpiece backgrounds. Gabrielle always allows her photo to take center stage. Your eyes are automatically drawn to her photo; you then take in all of her fine detail.
Gabrielle used two different stencils to help create her background. She used a texture paste and inks as well, along with some fun mixed media products. Click here and I will take you over to her blog “Such A Pretty Mess.” You will find a great recipe to create your own texture paste, along with the steps Gabrielle took to create this outstanding layout.

I love how Heather uses many layers of paper to create dimension and detail while still allowing her stamped image to take center stage. Adding a touch of Wink Of Stella really gives the shoe a pop.
