I love to journal. Usually I hand write a few lines on the front of a layout. Then I turn the page around and fill the back with journaling. I think it’s important for my daughter to know how we felt about the moment and be able to paint a story with words not just a few lines. My mother suffered from dementia and at the end she was unable to recall facts and memories. I want to get as much scrapped and completed journaling for fear of something like that happening to me. Winning this Typewriter would be a dream come true for me. I have what medically is called “Essential Tremors”. My hands shake so writing has become almost imposable for me. Thank the Lord I still have enough control that I am able to scrapbook and make cards. Winning this would truly change my life! I have a hard time writing since I lost the use of my thumb, pointer and middle finger on my dominant hand when a window I was trying to open broke. After three surgeries I can use the hand but it isn’t as useful as it was.

I had a typing class in high school and we learned on manual typewriters! I think it is just too funny that manual typewriters are back in style! Computers were just coming out back then and all the different electric typewriters were all the rage then slowly everyone was shelving typewriters and buying computers! I did miss my old manual typewriter!

OMG !!! I DREAM on having this beautiful typewriter. It reminded me of a one that I had back in college on the 80″s. When I finished school and move back home it was stolen along with other items on my way home. I still missed it SO much. This new version is a lot better since we can use 12″ X 12″ papers. This reminds me of the typewriter my mother used to write letters to my dad during WWII. She died when I was born and 50 years later I found a letter written by her on that typewriter. I do a lot of heritage scrapbooking and this would be a treasure for me to transform those pages into masterpieces.

Would love this typewriter as after 36 years of keying, my handwriting is horrendous! This typewriter would provide a means to typecast my own verbiage on my selected choice of paper, cards, crafts!

Wow! It would be absolutely AMAZING to type on a manual typewriter again! (Guess I’m showing my age — LOL) Seriously, my mom had one of the old school typewriters, and hated the “newfangled electrics!”

Would love to win this typewriter! I used to be an avid about my journaling my handwriting was neat and never was afraid to journal. I lost use of my hands due to a tumor on my spinal cord and had to learn to write again after hard therapy I do have the ability to write again but not as neat as before so I use a lot of stickers with words and letters to identify my scrap booking pages. This would be a great way to journal in my books again. Hoping to be lucky thank you for the chance to win this great prize!

Oh my gosh! I never in a million years thought that I would ever want one of these again. I learned to type on a typewriter in school. It would be a blessing to have a typewriter again. I am a big Consumer Crafts fan and I think they are great for offering this prize. Who woulda thought it??? God says everything comes full circle and I guess this is one of those things because when computers came into the world I was so happy not to have to type on one of those……now that I am a scrapbooker it would be fun. Go figure!

My grandmother had a typewriter and I loved to go and type messages with it but she had limited supplies and the ink ribbon was pretty dry. It was on3 of my favorite memories of time with her.
