Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: Hello! My name is Maryám Pérez. I’m 16 years old and I live in Osorno, Chile with my parents and my little sister. I love photography, scrapbooking, and to design. Since I was baby my mom always encouraged me to paint or cut things. When I entered school my favorite part was to buy pencils, notebooks, stickers, etc. So I started watching some videos on YouTube about crafting supplies and I found one about scrapbooking. Since then my life has changed.
Favorite thing to create: I love to create mini albums, cards, and more, but my favorite thing to create is layouts! I enjoy so much when I’m working on them.
What do you love about this hobby? I love that I can keep my memories and my stories in a creative way. I know in the future I will look back at them and will be so happy to remember all of those little moments of my life. I love this world and love to share my work with people from several countries.

AMAZING LITTLE FRIEND by Maryám Pérez
This little friend comes in the spring season every day near our window to sing to us. I decided to create a page about him. I fussy cut about 18 birds from one of the papers from Turn the Page collection and I put them in a triangle way, then, I started to embellish my page.
HAPPY AS CAN BE by Maryám Pérez
I especially love this layout because I created it for the Pink Paislee blog, but what I love more is the background! I think it’s just perfect. I used the beautiful Turn the Page collection.
LOVE by Maryám Pérez
Watercolors + Stitching = Happiness! I love both things and in this design I used them. I painted an earth globe and then I added my embellishments in a diagonal way.
LOVELY LIFE by Maryám Pérez
I love to hand-stitch on my layouts and I think this layout represents it very well! I didn’t use my favorite color palette on this page, but I love the result I got.
SMILE FOREVER by Maryám Pérez
In this layout, I used a photo of my sister and I created some 3D flowers to embellish my page. I used one of the papers from Oh my Heart collection to do the background.
