Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post and I have a fun product from a Latest & Greatest workshop to share with you.
Our next show is in Ontario, CA on November 2nd & 3rd. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching five “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Planners, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am sharing a project I created with a product from our Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools class: We R Memory Keepers‘ Mini Score Board.
If you take the class, you will receive a Mini Score Board. With it, I created the rosette on this card:
I started by scoring at the center and end of each scallop on a scallop border strip using the Mini Score Board.
Then, I pleated the strip with an accordion fold.
I adhered the ends together with a strong adhesive.
After laying the pleated strip flat to the table, I adhered a scrap circle on the back to hold it in place.
I then decorated the rosette with some cardstock and a round sticker.
I finished by adding the rosette to the center of my card, using it as an “O” in my sentiment.
This is such a handy little tool to have, and I just love the 6 x 8″ size. It is perfect for card making and more!
The Ontario, CA show will be our last show of the year, so this is the last chance to take this Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools workshop featuring We R Memory Keepers‘ Mini Score Board. We hope you are able to join us there.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Scoring the strip to form a rosette works great. We use to do this many years ago, but I have not for some time. Nice to be reminded.?
Love this pretty design on this card. Thanks for sharing this inspiration with these fun products.
Very cute. I always wondered how they were made.
Cute card I haven’t made a rosette in a while nice to be reminded of how cute the are! I love my We R Memory keepers tools Just got the Emoji punch for my grand daughters birthday present!
See you at Ontario!
Where did you get the scalloped border strip!
I have a scallop border punch but it makes much smaller scallops.
