Sundays With Lorraine

Hello, my crafty friends and welcome back to Stamp & Scrapbook Expo’s blog.  There is only one show left for 2018, I don’t know where the season went!  But not to worry, we still have the blog to keep us connected until our 2019 show year begins.  We are already in the process of planning an amazing show season for 2019 for you and your creative peeps.

Washi Storage Ring Tutorial

The end of our show year marks the beginning of organizing all the wonderful treasures that I have collected throughout the year.  I am serious when I say I still shop the show floor like I have never seen it before, yes, even after 18 years!  The show floor is constantly evolving and there are always new and exciting tools and supplies that we need in our lives.  After all, what kind of teacher would I be if I didn’t experience all that is available to us as crafters?! 🙂

I hope you have been inspired to gather up your collection of washi tape and give this oh-so-simple tip a try.  Crafting is so much more enjoyable when you know where everything is.

Happy Halloween Card by Melody

Not to worry, you still have time to whip up a few of your famous Halloween cards.  I was immediately drawn to the beautiful inky background along with how Melody used a combination of different stamp sets and dies from the Trick or Treat Friends stamp set, the Autumn Wreath stamp set, the Halloween Pals stamp set, and the Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set to create this fun Halloween scene.

For a complete supply list along with step-by-step instructions, click here and I will be happy to escort you over to the Pretty Pink Posh Designs blog so you can take some notes.

Happy Hugs Card by Yoonsun Hur

I warned you, I am in a serious holiday crafting mood already.  One can never be too early to get started on their holiday cards and tags, right?  Big hugs to Yoonsun for being such a constant inspiration to her fellow paper crafters.

This adorable winter-themed card is the perfect way to send a hug through the mail.  Kudos to you for sharing the love one handmade card at a time.

5 Layer Mason Jar Taco Dip

These tasty treats are perfect for your holiday gatherings.  They are individual servings that come together in no time and require no maintenance, which leaves you more time to enjoy your quests.  No double dipping here!  What’s not to love?

Click here and I will take you over to the Damn Delicious food blog so you can jot down the ingredients.  Chungah is the queen of using simple, fresh ingredients and transforming them into sophisticated and elegant meals for those of us that aren’t as creative in the kitchen as we are in the craft room.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have been inspired to give a few of these ideas a try.  See you next Sunday!

Hugs to all, Lorraine

LeAnn you are amazing! The products you allow us to play with & the patience to explain until we get it, no matter how many times you have to repeat it, is phenomenal! If it were allowed, I could sit in the Creativity Center and do projects until I’ve done each one at least once. I look forward to seeing you each year!

Love Love Love the Creativity center, learned new techniques, learned about new products, love Lorraine’s passion about crafts, her patience and willingness to repeat herself when we don’t and the ease with which she makes you feel comfortable with the products, I came to the Expo with a list of items to buy, ( which I did) and being able to get familiar with products in the center made me add purchases from 4 additional booths. Thanks to all the venders who support the Creativity Center!!! Love the blog!!! Great ideas!!! Thanks!!! ???
