Memory Keeping – Traveler’s Notebook Style

The Wandering Planners

This is my favorite way to memory keep!  Michelle here today to share with you how I use my supplies to memory keep in a traveler’s notebook.  I love the size of a TN {Traveler’s Notebook}; it’s 4.33 x 8.25 to be exact.  I take my memory keeping supplies with me on all my travels, and I have shared before how I do that.  Today, though, let’s talk about how I store them at home in my scrapbook room.  I use a desktop organizer from the craft store for all my cut papers and TN supplies, and then a cute bin to hold all my die cuts and ephemera.

I take any new pattern paper (oh, how I LOVE pattern paper!), trim it all down to 4×8″ and place it in my bin by color. So now my paper and all my cards are right there, pre-cut and ready to go.

I love having all the supplies at my fingertips! It makes memory keeping so easy.

See how it fits perfectly and leaves just enough of a white border?  I love that!  Then just add your photo, some die cuts, and journaling.

Here you can see a double page all done in my TN.  I store all my books in a Foxy Fix leather cover.

I always have lots of TN inserts handy at all times. I even make most of them myself!

So do any of you memory keep in a TN, and if so, are you loving it?  If you are on the fence about it, please give it a try!  It’s so much fun and super easy.  I look forward to meeting all of you this year at our Wandering Planners Meet-ups.  Click here to find a Meet-up to join – we’d love to have you!

Such a good idea. I need to start prepping my cards so I can just create and go. Sometimes by the time you are done prepping, you are too tired to do much else.

I agree, sometimes I feel like I spend more time prepping than doing. It does feel great though to have it all ready to go at any given moment. 😉 I LOVE the idea of having your card stuff pre cut thats awesome!

Those are really good suggestions. I like the idea of keeping ephemera in a tray nearby. I never know what to do with those odd size packages. Thanks for the tips!
