Hello my crafty friends, and welcome back to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog. I hope your summer is off to a great start. It’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a little creative therapy!
Pocket Pages with Studio Calico
Since summer is here and I know you will be taking lots of great pics, I thought you might enjoy a little pocket page inspiration. I love this clean and simple layout; it has all the components of a perfect scrapbook layout with multiple photos, lots of journaling, and even a little hand stitching. Hand stitching is a great way to add a personal touch to your layout. Quick, easy, and adorable, what’s not to love?
I hope you’ve been inspired to get some of those priceless photos off your phone and into a scrapbook. Pocket pages are a quick and easy way to record life’s special memories. If you are a long time, traditional scrapper, not to worry, just because it is a pocket page, that doesn’t mean you can’t use all of your treasured tools and supplies. Traditional scrapbooking and pocket pages can coexist together very well. I like to call it going hybrid, and remember that creating your own pocket cards is a lot of fun.
Colorful Glitter Paste & Stencils by Kristina Werner
I was truly inspired by Kristina’s YouTube video on using Gitter Paste so I thought I’d pass it on. I feel a bit silly because I was so excited to share the inspiration that I didn’t realize until I added the photo that one of the cards was a Valentine’s Day card, oops. But being the creative person that you are I know you’ll figure out how to change the sentiment! 🙂 This post is all about the gorgeous Glitter Paste and some creative ways to use it on a project.
Talk about a stunning card! I’d like to send out a virtual hug to Kristina for being such a constant inspiration to her fellow scrappers. I barely finished this post and I was reaching for my Glitter Paste.
