    Jingle All The Way is our family favorite. We were lucky enough to be touring Universal Studio when they were filming it and of course our son wanted Turbo Man for Christmas that year.

    My favorite movie is Christmas in Connecticut from the 40’s with Barbara Stanwyck and Dennis Morgan. It’s the first movie I watch to kick off the season.

    My favorite Christmas movie is, I think, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. But… it’s definitely in competition with Christmas Vacation. Rudolph puts me in the Christmas spirit, Christmas Vacation just makes me laugh!

      My favorite Christmas movie is, and always will be, Miracle on 34th Street. I’ve watched that movie every year since I was a little girl…….and I’m in my 60’s now!

    I love “Holiday Inn” with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney. I thought it would be incredibly romantic to take a long distance train ride so my then boyfriend booked us on the Amtrak Lakeshore Limited from NYC to Chicago where he proposed! 23 years ago!

    Same, national lampoon’s Christmas vacation. We quote the movie all year long and have for years. I saw it in the 1$ theater in Phoenix Arizona in July of 1990, I was pregnant with our almost Christmas baby. He was our first and born dec 19.

    It’s amazing to see that there are some newer movies that are worthy of becoming a ‘classic.’ I knew when I saw “The Santa Clause” it was destined as a classic. I love seeing “The Bishop’s Wife” with Cary Grant and Loretta Young every Christmas though!

    I love “The Holiday” which is a rom-com taking place over Christmas. It’s got it all–the magic of the season, some European cache with some scenes set in London, and a happy ending and love all around. What could be better? Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet are masters at fun storytelling.

    Our favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. We have two traditions based upon it-one is obviously to watch it every year. The other is a tidbit fun and “weird” a friend gave me an artificial leg and I created a leg lamp. Gave it at Christmas to a family member with the instruction to make one change and pass it on to another family member the following year. It has “made the rounds” and holds a place of honor in the home of its temporary host.

    Die Hard is our annual tradition Christmas movie (and totally underrated as such), and The Year Without a Santa Claus – the old Rankin-Bass version – is my all-time favorite Christmas movie ever. Any of the Rankin-Bass ones, actually!
