Sundays With Lorraine

Hello my crafty friends, and welcome back to another week on the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog.  I hope you are enjoying a beautiful Sunday and that you are ready for today’s creative therapy.  After the busy week that you’ve just survived, you deserve a little creative time to unwind.

Traveler’s Notebook Layout by Emma Tildesley/ Canvas Corp

Since I have officially been bitten by the Traveler’s Notebook bug as have many of you, I thought you might enjoy this artsy layout that I discovered on the Canvas Corp blog.  I love how Emma incorporated Tattered Angels products to create a gorgeous background.  I hope you’ve been as inspired as I was by its beauty.  To see how easily this little work of art comes together, I highly recommend stopping by Canvas Corp’s blog to check out the video that Emma has prepared, you’re going to love it.

Happy Birthday Shaker Card by Katie

Who wouldn’t feel the love after receiving this sweet card in their mailbox?  Making your own shaker card is a lot easier than you think.  With a little help from our creative friend Katie you, too, can whip up several of these in no time.  Click here and I will take you over to the blog so you can check out the short video.  Just thinking out loud here but I’m pretty sure one of your handmade cards is SURE to make someone SPECIAL smile!!

One Pot Cheesy Tortellini Skillet by Wishes and Dishes

This recipe is definitely one of my go-to comfort foods and you’ll be happy to know that it all cooks in one skillet.  Dinner in about half an hour, easy cleanup and happy campers at the dinner table is a beautiful thing! Click here and I’ll escort you over to Wishes and Dishes so you can print out the recipe, this is one you will be repeating! 🙂

I’ve just returned home from our Pomona, Ca. Stamp and Scrapbook Expo show and I’m happy to report that a good time was had by all.  Kudos to all the talented paper crafters that attended the show, you really know how to get your craft on!  Not to worry if you missed the Pomona show because there is still plenty of time to gather up your creative peeps and start planning an amazing weekend.  I’m looking forward to seeing you at the show, I’ll meet you at the Creativity Center.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing week ahead of you.

Hugs to all,

Lorraine
