Sundays With Lorraine

Hello, my crafty friends, and welcome back to our blog, Paper Affair! I hope you are as excited as we are for our 2020 show season to begin. We will be kicking off the year in Orlando, Florida at the beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort. I thought you might enjoy a sneak peek of what we’ll be creating at the Creativity Center.

The beginning of the New Year is beyond exciting for me.  I not only have the privilege of sharing inspiration through this blog, but it also means new and exciting projects to share with you in person at the shows! You’ll be happy to hear that each project is sponsored by one of our amazing exhibitors, so once you fall in love with the products, you can go right to their booth and purchase your new treasures!  How often do you get to play with the toys before you buy them?  It’s a wonderful experience (LOL)!

Rubbernecker Stamps

On this sweet card, we will be heat embossing, die-cutting, and stamping. I will be sharing a brand new item that I must keep a secret until the show. I guess you’ll have to stop by the Creativity Center and see it for yourself. Just thinking out loud, but I think you’re gonna love ’em!

Local King Rubber Stamps

When I first saw this artsy card, I knew it needed to be shared in the Creativity Center. The first thing to catch my eye is the brand new background stamp titled Dew Drop combined with Local Rubber King’s detailed floral dies. It’s a definite hit! The background is so detailed it looks dimensional. It is a “need it in your life” stamp. We will also be inking the background using Local Rubber King’s new Magic Mushroom daubers. At the risk of being labeled an enabler (LOL)… these are another “need it in your life” tool. Stop by and see the magic!

The Paper Cuts

You are really gonna flip over this adorable interactive card sponsored by The Paper Cuts. Sarah has spoiled us again this season! She has put a lot of love into this project; everything is pre-stamped, which allows us time to master the magic of creating a fun waterfall effect. This is one technique you will use over and over again.

I’m doing the happy dance because it’s just a few short weeks until our first show of the new year!  Orlando, here we come! Four months without you guys has been such a long time!  Click here and I will take you over to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo website so you can start planning that much-needed weekend with your creative peeps. You deserve it! I’ll meet you at the Creativity Center and I’ll have your 2020 “I created” button waiting for you!

Hugs to all,

Lorraine
