Anya Schrier created this cute wintery card for a challenge at The Play Date Cafe.
I like to use a challenge if I’m stuck creatively. There are many companies that offer designer challenges and there are different themes. Some are color challenges, some are layout challenges and there are some that challenge more broadly.
If you are new to challenges, here is basically how they work. A company posts a challenge and then you make a project based on their challenge. Send in or link your photo to their challenge for a chance to win some goodies. Make sure to look at the rules and the deadline. Sometimes you need to use a specific brand of product on your work. Someone usually wins a prize, either based on a vote, talent or just a random draw.
That’s pretty much it, so go ahead and try it. You may win some nice goodies!
