This layout truly is a treasure. This is what scrapbooking is all about. There are so many amazing details on this page, yet the beautiful photo still holds the main focus.
Notice that there are only 3 patterns of paper used on the entire layout. The black and turquoise patterned paper was used in several different areas, it was used for the layered flower, the die cut photo corners as well as the torn/distressed strips on top and bottom of the layout. By using only a few patterns of paper throughout your layout, this is a great way to keep consistency throughout your page. This layout is full of detail yet the cost is very minimal. There are a few embellishments like the pearls, flowers and a few buttons. But it’s the paper that does most of the work.
