Girlie

This design is such a beautiful masterpiece.  All I can say on this layout is Wow!  There is something about vintage and Gabrielle Pollacco that always pulls me right in.  I just love her technique and style.  What an incredible inspiration on this layout.  Once again Thank You so much Gabrielle for sharing your talent with us and letting us enjoy your work of art.

Girly

Gabrielle took Maja papers that have the fabric look and the Fika collection using their gingham style papers.  Using the gingham background she then cut the Chaite paper in a drape design on a diagonal. She used the green “Smulpaj m applen-bs paper as her matting for her photo just to add that little extra touch of apple green.

To make the blooms she used the Spellbinders smallest die from the Rose Creation’s Dies, then cutting out a whole bunch from cream cardstock.  Gabrielle took each petal and gave it a little crinkle.  To finish off the completed look she added an adhesive pearl.  With ribbon from her stash she added a green bow to each floral cluster.

To create the drape first she cut the Chaire paper in a curvy line and moisten the edge with water using her fingers to create the draped line.   Gabrielle used the scrap pieces left of the Chaite paper and cut out 3 crescents giving them a bit of a fold, and tucked them under the draped areas. What a great touch of detail it adds.

Adding embellishments to the photo, Gabrielle cut two hearts from the Kladdkaka paper and one from a scrap piece of paper from her stash.  Matting the hearts with some plain white cardstock she trimmed the edges with a scallop edge scissor.  From the Vintage Autumn Basics collection she cut out a couple of clock designs.  The cameo is from Websters Pages.  Also adding some rhinestones and pearls.

Gabrielle added a design to the background paper going along with the fabric theme using a Crafters Workshop stencil and some texture paste.  She took a Dusty Attic chipboard flourish and coated it with Gesso then adding a stamped script and finished it with crackle varnish.  This is certainly one of those breath-taking layouts.
