Wouldn’t these be adorable little gifts to hand out to say Thank You for coming to a shower, birthday, baptism/christening, or even just to set out for a cute table setting? Just tuck a little note inside or a cute tag hanging from the apron to say Thank You for coming! This fun little dress treat box was crated by Natalie Kennedy. She is so very creative so be sure to stop on over to her blog Sit. Stay. Stamp.
These are very easy and fun to make. First you will take the Dress Up Framelits die from Stampin’ Up, and that will be the base of the treat box. Natalie came up with the idea for the scallops at the neckline by using the 7/8″ Scallop circle punch. She punched them out in whisper white cardstock, then snipped the little scalloped circle in quarters and adhered a quarter behind each part of the neckline.
You can adjust the size of the treat box to fit whatever treat you choose to use.
Add a tea lace paper doily for the apron and some fun ruffle stretch trim around the waistline. To finish it off add three small pearls for the buttons. What an adorable treat box. A big Thank You goes out to Natalie for sharing this adorable inspiration with us.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
