Do you ever wonder how to use fun colored straws on your cards, or even layouts? This card is such a great example of incorporating a straw into a card. I just love the stunning bow and how Kristi combined all of the different elements into her card. This card really fits the sentiment given. A big Thank You goes out to Kristi Schurr for sharing this sweet card. Be sure to visit her blog Kristi’s Paper Creations for more outstanding projects
Kristi created a sleek but shabby chic style card using some papers from Crate Paper. She added a darling place setting using the Tea Party Stamp set. Kristi incorporated a paper straw as part of her border down the side of her card.
To finish her card and giving it the final touch she added a fun shabby chic bow, and tied it off with a blue rose and some twine. Last of all she added a sweet sentiment on a tag with some pink pearls added to the bottom.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
