Fun & Easy Zig-Zag Pop-up 3D Card

Hello everyone! It’s Tiffany here with another fun Design Team Tutorial! This time we’ll be working with Karen Burniston’s Zig-Zag 3D Pop-Up Bigz Die and the Hero Arts Bold Pop Designs Stamps & Dies Set.

Here’s the Inside:

Here’s the Front:

First, decorate the card front! It is easier to adhere and position everything while the inside is still blank. I kept my card front very clean and graphic because the inside packs a lot of punch!

Next, stamp and die cut all of your desired elements. I used all of the stamped images and dies from the Hero Arts Bold Pop Designs set excluding it’s little birdie friend.

Trim the patterned paper for the inside of the card. Here are the elements I’ve chosen to use: 1 large flower, 2 medium flowers, 1small flower, and a butterfly.

To create the butterfly trail, place a little bit of adhesive on your fingertip and moisten a bit of twine. This will make it sticky and more stiff for shaping!

Stick the stiffened twine behind the butterfly and onto the card before shaping. Allow to dry.

Now, you can adhere all the other fun elements! I used a combination of mini-alphabet stickers from Lily Bee and some large alphabet stickers from Lawn Fawn to create the sentiment “happy sweet 16th birthday to you!”

Voila! Easy Peasy! Pop-up cards can be FUN & Easy!

Thanks for looking,
