It’s Your Day

Don’t you just love the vintage style of this sweet card? I just love the fussy cutting of the romantic lady image from the paper. The vintage soft colors, twine, bow etc make it so perfect with the flapper image. Let’s not forget to mention the beautiful pullout tag in a very creative pocket. The base of the card is made with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight die cut with cream cardstock. The next layer Lisa used Spellbinders Label Eight die. She used the rest of the paper from Prima’s Fairy Rhymes paper stack.

The Labels 8 was cut twice and the top layer was cut in half to make the pocket for the tag. The edges were inked. The border along the edge is Die-Versions Lacey Dots die. And the image was fussy cut from paper.

To make the tag use the Tim Holtz Tiny Tabs & Tags die. It was cut once with the Prima Paper and then in vellum. The circles are Spellbinders Beaded Circles and Standard Circles Small dies. The stamp used is “All around Spring” stamp set. To finish off the tag add a burlap ribbon and attached with a staple.

The ribbon just finishes off the beauty of the card. Attach a tag stamped with “Wishing You Happiness” from Tiny Tags 1 stamp set. Add a matching button and tie a bow with Hemp cord. This card is pure elegance. Thank You Kim for sharing this outstanding card with us.
