Your Special Day

Just to share a bit about myself, I currently host Scrapbook Expo’s Creativity Center at 20 shows across the nation. After 14 years of traveling with Scrapbook Expo I still get excited when I hit the show floor. Yes, I still shop like it’s a sport I’m in it to win it! 🙂 If you’re a collector like myself, you understand how much fun it is to learn about tools and all the fun things they can do. Since there are so many must-have tools that were used to create this darling card, I knew I had to share it for how beautiful it is and the techniques that went into its creation.

 Celebrate Your Special Day

I love polka dots and there is not much that says “happy” like polka dots. Melody created this fun polka dot background using the Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namic die by MFT. If you want the look of linen but you have basic non-textured cardstock on hand, then you need the Linen Background Stamp. The linen pattern is cut with the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namicsm. The sentiment is from the Birthday Greeting Stamp Set, stamped in Sweet Tooth Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The flower embellishment is put together with the Upsy-Daisy, Leaf-Filled Flourish, and Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics.

Since these dies and stamps are so versatile and we are going to use them over and over, it’s a great idea to add them to our stash! Think of the possibilities! I’d like to send out a huge thank you to Melody, author of A Paper Melody, for sharing her beautiful card.

Thanks for the great visit and I wish you a very creative day.
