Sundays With Lorraine

Hello my artsy friends, welcome to the weekend! Sundays were meant to be relaxing so sit back and let those creative juices flow.

Beach Life By Riikka Kovasin

With summer knocking at our door, I thought you might enjoy this sweet layout designed by Riikka Kovasin. I love how Riikka created a nautical/beachy theme without the traditional colors and design. For instance, I wouldn’t typically go for the background paper with music notes, but I love it. I hope Riikka’s design has inspired you to think outside the box. I love it when we get fearless when it comes to our creativity; remember art was meant to be fun, so enjoy it!

Isn’t it time to transfer some of those cute beach photos off your phone and into an album. Be sure to stop by the Paperiliitin anytime you need a burst of inspiration. Happy scrappin’!

Oh Happy Day designed by Mel

This card is sure to bring a smile to anyones face; it’s like receiving flowers in an envelope. Mel’s coloring really brings the digital floral image to life.

Oh Happy Day

I was a little surprised when I found out that other than coloring with Copic markers, everything else is digital, even the lining in the envelope is a free printable that you can find here.  I must confess going digital is something I haven’t explored a lot yet, but I would like to give it a try – especially when I see how easy it is to create a really artsy card in no time.
