Hello! Welcome to Inspiration Station with Becki Adams. I’m thrilled to be here on the Weekly Scrapper blog! Today, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about myself and share some samples of my work with you.

I was born and raised outside of a small farming town in Idaho. Even though I grew up on a potato/wheat farm I don’t eat potatoes or wheat. (My dad is mortified.) I currently raise my kiddos in a home that is only a few miles from the home I grew up in. My passion resides in photos and storytelling and the magic that happens when those two elements coincide. There’s something very special about documenting a memory with a photo. I’m a scrapbooker at heart. I spend my days being a full-time mom and papercrafting whenever I get a chance.

A few random facts about me: I love a clean house, a good book, and a really great cup of hot chocolate (in the winter) or a glass of raspberry lemonade (in the summer). Oh, and chocolate, don’t forget that I love chocolate! I also love a great find in a thrift store. My most favorite things to look for at thrift stores are books and dishes…a girl can never have too many dishes, or books.

I’m so grateful to have worked in the papercrafting industry for the past six years. Working in the industry has given me the opportunity to work for many manufactures and meet so many wonderful people. I’m excited to start this journey with Scrapbook Expo and the Weekly Scrapper blog.

To get started, I have three layouts to share with you. The first two are layouts that are simply my favorites. The third one is one that I created just for my introduction here at the Weekly Scrapper blog. Even though I’m sharing layouts with you today, I have many other types of papercrafting projects to share with you in the coming weeks.

And finally, the third layout is one I created documenting my daughter. I combined fussy cutting, lots of chipboard, and lots of machine stitching to create this layout:

Thanks for joining me today! I can’t wait to see you each week. I’ll see you next Thursday when I’ll be sharing a beautiful card with you.

I love the carefreeness look of your artwork! You make it look easy and happenstance. I too love my great deals and treasures from thrift store shopping excursions!
