Fun In The Sun Layout By Stacy Cohen
Whether you’re a 1-page scrapper or a 2-page scrapper, you are going to love this sweet summer- themed layout designed by the amazing Stacy Cohen! No matter what your preference is, Stacy shows us just how easy it is to stretch a one-page layout into a double-page layout using the same design.
To modify this design for a double-page layout, Stacy simply rotated the design counterclockwise 90 degrees, stretched out the paper strip rows, and added more photos.

Amanda really is the queen of beautiful details; you will be amazed how a few simple techniques can add such visual interest to your stamping projects. Be sure to check out the Youtube video – I’ve watched it several times and I’m still blown away by her skills. The best part is that they aren’t difficult techniques, it’s just things that I hadn’t thought of. My favorite is removing some of the distress ink with a paint brush to give the illusion of depth. I’d like to send out a virtual hug to Amanda for being such an inspiration to her fellow paper crafters.
Fill your Life With Color by Amanda Southern
This one goes out to all of you amazingly talented stampers. I was blown away when I first discovered that this was a single layer card. All the depth and visual interest is created by shading, coloring, and a little imagination. I love the Zentangle influence without all the work. 😉 Amanda generously shares how she created this work of art on her blog That’s Blogging Crafty. The Sunbathing Companion
This is one post that’s been resurfacing time and time again through the years and its sure to come in handy for your trips to the beach and/or pool. The end result will be a lovely sunbathing towel with an attached pillow that can all be rolled up into a bag and carried (with sunbathing items included) down to the beach with you. What’s not to love?
This project is pretty much labeled a beginner sewing project, so no worries if you’re not a seamstress. I’m thinking I need a few new towels for the bathroom and I will recycle several older ones. Lemon Asparagus Pasta With Grilled Chicken
