Hey friends, Becki here! While I’m getting ready to teach some workshops at the Akron, Ohio Stamp & Scrapbook Expo (YAY!!), I have a fall-themed thank you card to share with you. As you already know, I LOVE fall so naturally I fell in love with the “I Love Family” collection from Echo Park Paper and Lori Whitlock. This collection is full of gorgeous rich fall colors (reds, browns, yellows, and a pop of teal). I used lots of die cuts and a sentiment stamp to create this card.
6×6″ paper pads are my best friend when I’m creating cards. The smaller scaled patterns are perfect for card making. I used lots of different patterns and colors to create the flowers and greenery for this card.
I gently curled the edges of the flowers and leaves with my fingers to create texture and a bit of dimension. I clustered the flowers together on the left side of the card.
In the center of a few of the flowers I adhered a button and some enamel dots. Enamel dots are a quick and easy way to add a little bit of color and texture.
I stamped the sentiment with a dark brown ink and a “thank you” sentiment stamp. After tucking the sentiment into the cluster of flowers, the card was finished. I love this fall-themed thank you card. Do you have the “I Love Family” collection? If not, grab the 6×6″ paper pad, some die cuts, and get creating! Thanks for stopping by the Weekly Scrapper blog, and I’ll see you again next week.
