Sundays With Lorraine

Hello, my crafty friends and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper. The holidays are knocking on our door but not to worry, we’re here to help with your holiday preparations.

Favorite Little Dudes By Laura Vegas

Are you a one page scrapper, or are double page layouts a must for you? Personally, I’m a double page scrapper –  the process just doesn’t seem natural unless I have two coordinating pages side-by-side. We all take lots of pictures around the holidays, right? How perfect would this design be to showcase several of your precious holiday pics?

When I discovered this adorable layout I was immediately inspired by Laura’s photo collage design and I am definitely going to scrap-lift this idea and take it one step further and create a mini album using her design. As many of you know I host the Creativity Center at Stamp & Scrapbook Expos and throughout the years I have been gifted with many photos of my amazing students. The next time you stop by a Stamp & Scrapbook Expo, be sure to stop for a free make and take and check out my album. 😉

Plush Poinsettia Heart Ornament by Kittie Caracciolo

This adorable plush poinsettia heart is perfect to give as a little gift, to decorate a package, or to use as a holiday ornament. I absolutely fell in love with its charm!

Plush Poinsettia Heart Ornament by Kittie Caracciolo

Kittie created this heart using Memory Box Plus Die Sets. She was able to get a crisp cut with the felt using the wafer thin dies, and to make sure the die didn’t leave any marks on the pretty white felt she layered white printer paper between the felt and the die cut. Kittie makes is easy for you to create these beautiful hearts yourself with her lovely step-by-step tutorial, so click HERE and I’ll take you on over to visit the CLASSroom blog. This project makes me want to gather the supplies and snuggle up next to the Christmas tree with my needle and thread and sew some of these beautiful hearts together.

From The Bottom Of My Heart By Lin

Thank you cards are one of my favorite type cards to make. There’s no better way to show your appreciation than by giving a handmade thank you card. Lin’s design really caught my eye since I love to use hearts on projects and I love to color. Lin used Tammy Tutterow’s must-have coloring stamps to create the main image. I am in love with these stamps and coloring pages. They are sized to fit card fronts and are perfect for anyone that’s been bitten by the coloring bug. 😉
