You’ve shopped, taken a workshop, and your arms are full of Make & Takes, crafting treasures, and workshop kits. Stop by the free baggage check and drop off your bags. (You may want to slip a dollar to the charity that is running it, but really, you would donate to the cause anyway, and they are certainly saving your back!)
5 … Crops
This is the best way to keep track of your friends and your stuff at Scrapbook Expo. Purchase a crop table and then you have a home base to work from. You can shop a little, come back and look at your treasures, then leave everything at the table, go take a workshop, go get something to eat – you get the idea! Your friends can all do the same, and after shopping and workshops, you get to hang out until midnight getting crafty. There are prizes galore, and if you want to dress in costume or decorate your table, you have even more chances to win. Buying raffle tickets gives you more chances for prizes! You get a $20 crop kit of crafting products, along with a keepsake button. All just for hanging out with your girlfriends at Scrapbook Expo! TIP: Seating is first come in the crop, so if you don’t want to pay for a table together, show up early and seat yourselves together.

Something fun about myself, hmmm, when I go with my husband on work trips ( he will work 12 hours a day 6 days a week) and I am stuck in the hotel I swear I get more card making done then rather than any other place I craft!
When I babysit my 3 year old grandson all my attention is directed toward him. He will be grown too soon so I cherish the time we have together.

I love making cards and tags for birthdays and holidays. On Thanksgiving, I go to my sister-in-law Pat’s house and bring small Christmas stamps, Christmas scrapbook paper, solid papers and shipping tags. That way, all the women can make gift tags for their Christmas presents in time to send them out to family. I feel like I’m giving back to Pat for the wonderful meal by providing the craft supplies.

The most interesting thing about me is that I love to stamp and craft, but I’m colorblind! It doesn’t affect me most of the time but I do have some trouble distinguishing between different shades of red and brown. Either way, I love paper crafting!
Something fun about myself… that is a tough one. I can tie a cherry stem into a knot using just my tongue. Or, because I have had so much radiation( to treat cancer 3 times) I can’t smell. Due to this, I am the official neighborhood skunk catcher once hubby shoots them. I run up to the side as soon as it is dead and stuff it into a trash bag. I can’t smell them so it doesn’t bother me at all.
Another fun fact is that, although I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket if my life depended on it but my 4 year old granddaughter thinks I am the “bestest singer in the world”. You can often find us singing about almost anything. She really likes our gotta go poop song and I want a treat, treat is another of her favorites. We make up our own lyrics and sing our little hearts out when we are home alone. We have been banned from singing if hubby or her daddy are home though. LOL I just can’t figure out why!

Something fun about me…I love to craft, whether its card making, scrapbooking, knitting, crotcheting or cross stitching. The hard part if finishing a project because if I happen to get sidetracked by something new, I stop what I do to try to learn all about the new distraction and sometimes won’t get back to finishing the project until way later.

I’ve always been a pretty responsible person, and never got in trouble, even as a teenager (which drove my friends crazy). I got into scrap booking accidentally. My friend was going through chemo & I thought I could sit with her while she scrapbooked memories of a better time. She gave me a bunch of supplies so I could do it with her & I was hooked!
I like to use one of my big tag punches to make gift tags from old greeting cards. I then tie them with a fun piece of ribbon or twine and give them to friends and relatives or donate at my church fund raisers. With the variety of colors, you can always find one to match your wrapping paper or gift bag. I am very excited about the EXPOs this year!
I mostly make cards and just love the creative process. It is so much fun to take a piece of paper and make something really pretty. I love going to Scrapbook Expo — I attend the Milwaukee and Schaumburg shows.
I love grab bags – you never know what kind of fun is inside! Something fun about myself – I was born on February 29, 1976, so this last February was my 10th real birthday! So when my son turned nine, he went to school and told everyone he was now older than me (I was 8 1/2 at the time).
I am a Floral Designer that specializes in Vintage weddings and events. I also offer Candy / Dessert stations and staging mixing new and vintage items. So the items that I purchase from the Scrapbooking show , are used for my business and are almost repurposed, themselves. So I am not the typical scrapbooker that attends, but we use everything!

The three most important things in my life are family (and my precious grandson), Disney, and the Chicago Cubs (long before they finally won the World Series)!
I love everything that has the word “craft” and/or “create” in it!!! My passion is scrapbooking, and next would be mixed media art. There is never enough time in the day to create, but I manage to not let a day go buy when I am not creating something!! Thank you for a chance to win this fabulous surprise gift (I love surprises!).
Something interesting about me is that I used to do rabbit rescue and had up to 13 rabbits at one time. My rabbits were often found in fields or people’s yards, and some were given to me by my animal vet when they were brought in to be euthanized after their owners tired of them. They were all spayed and neutered, and housed in pairs. It came to be that rabbits started just showing up in our front and back yard, attracted by all the other ones, as we live right next to open space and hills. They were all domestic rabbits that had probably either escaped or been let go. I scrapped some of my experiences in an album and still have fond memories of those furry cuties.
Love papercrafting! And recycling throwaways like tissue rolls and floppy discs to make mini books. Love Expo; been to Anaheim, San Diego and Mesa. Would love to return to Mesa in 2017! Mahalo for the op to win.

All my friends have a designated craft room……myself included – there are 6 of us in our little card club where we make cards each month based on a theme – my craft room is named “the cabana room” – it would be so much fun winning a mystery box that we all could enjoy in the cabana room. Looking forward to the grapevine show & riding the bus to get there will be fun.
Scrapbook Expo is my favorite event of the year! My friend, Andrea, and I have been attending for many years. We love taking classes, shopping, and the crop! My personal favorite is the fabulous make ‘n take event and DAVE!!! I mean, seriously, who doesn’t love DAVE?!
My fun side comes out with my three granddaughters. There’s no-holds-barred silliness whenever we get together. And for me, the perfect time of year comes when I babysit my 7-year old in Chantilly the week of the Expo there. I get free room and board AND a lift to and from the Expo in exchange. What’s not to love about that?!

I just learned about Scrapbook Expos and there is one near me this weekend!!! I can’t wait!!

Along with scrapbooking and making cards, I enjoy riding my quad. As a mother of 4 boys my husband thought it would be fun if I tag along with him and the boys when they ride their dirt bikes ?
Something fun about me? I have a twin sister, but we do not have the same birthday — she was born on March 24th and I waited until 3 minutes after midnight on March 25th to make my arrival. The doctor who delivered us asked my Mom if he wanted her to change the “official” birth time for me so that my sister and I would have the same birth date, and she told him, “Absolutely not!” To which her mother replied, “You always did have to be different!” My Mom is my best friend, and we will be attending the Grapevine Expo at the end of this month…. and we’re hoping to attend all 3 days next year and go to the Mega Make & Take, take a couple of workshops, and just take in as much of the Expo as we possibly can in celebration of my (and my sister’s) 50th birthday!
I recently got into Art Journaling & found that I LOVE making a MESS!
I would LOVE to win some crafting goodies! I was hoping to attend the Anaheim Expo. But my Mom will be out of state, and she’s the only one who might be interested in attending with me. I’m very disappointed. I was able to attend the San Diego Mega Make n Take 2 years ago. It was AWESOME!
I love to scrapbook. It’s finding the time that is the problem. Now I’ve started to get into card making. Love that too. Lol. It’s never ending!!!
The one thing about me besides the scrapbooking and cards. I am a big Disney fan. I’m a snowbird in Florida for winter months and love to go to the Disney parks!!!

I love to go to the Expo in Sacramento, CA with my daughter and other scrappy friends. We have so much fun shopping and scrapping. While you are scrapping and need something special there is a whole room full of vendors so you can find just the right thing needed. Still have 8 months to go.
This will be the fourth year that I have organized a van trip for 8 of our stamping group to attend the Chantilly Expo! We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the June expo there
Something fun about me?……..I live in Canada, in the snow belt and I hate winter & the cold. I love palm trees & hot summer beach weather. I’m the proud owner of a bicycle shop & I love my crafts, which my husband has recently embraced and has let me incorporate into our business…….custom signs, t shirts & cards. I like to take my crafts to the limits and create unique, one of a kind keepsakes. Looking forward to Duluth in July. I love scrapping and spending quality time with my daughter while doing it. We spend a Saturday a month scrapping at our local store. It helps keep us sane. Love all your wonderful tips. Thanks.

I love going to all the Expo’s around the country but I never miss the one in my hometown, Orlando, FL. Love shopping, doing Make & Takes, and volunteering. Thanks Scrapbook Expo for staying in Florida!!
I enjoy wearing superhero shirts and dressing up as a superhero, with my youngest who just loves them all! He takes me back to my youth and brings out the geek in me!

Love, love, love the Expo! I’m planning to go to the one in Milwaukee and the one in Schaumburg. I look forward to them every year. I have 4 adult children, 7 adopted children and I provide daycare for a couple of families during the week so “me time” is precious. The Expo is my annual getaway. I would love to win Dave’s gift!
