Happy Birthday By Laura Bassen

I am so excited to share a new stamp Sketchy Cities America by Simon Says Stamp.  This fun new stamp gives you the skyline of Seattle.  I have so many fond memories of Seattle, so I can’t wait to play with this stamp set.  You will also enjoy all the wonderful sentiments that comes with this set.  This is one of those cards that you could easily turn into a perfect masculine card.  Don’t you just love the color blending?  It really adds a great touch to this fabulous card.

Happy Birthday

For Laura’s beautiful card she highlighted the skyline by embossing it in clear, then blending several of the Altenew inks from their Sea Shore ink set.  This is such a magnificent way of saying Happy Birthday!  Click here and I will take you over to Laurafadora where you will be able to see a video on how Laura created this fun card.  While visiting, be sure to look at some of the other fabulous cards she has created.  Wouldn’t you love to be the one who receives this gorgeous card?

Hello Sweet Pea By Broni Holcombe

Are you ready for some more fun and inspiration?  This is one of those “wow” cards that you can create using a few different techniques along with some fun vibrant colors.  Broni really has a gift for bringing images to life with her amazing coloring skills.  This is one of those cards that make you want to jump right in and create one of your own. Are you ready to begin?  This digital image comes just like the image seen below.  You can enlarge it or shrink it down to create the size of card that you desire.

Hello Sweet Pea

Digital images are a great way to let your imagination run wild.  The best images speak for themselves.  Broni decided to watercolor these sweet pea flowers using a very casual watercoloring technique.  She used a few of her Zig Clean Color pens to fill in the background and shade the blossoms.  The coloring is so easy with a lot of different options of color.  The rest of the work is just matting it all up.  Let me escort you over to Splashes Of Watercolor where you can see the supply list needed for this card.  The cards you create are so priceless and will always be treasured by the person receiving them.
