Wander By Amanda Baldwin
Fall is here with cool temperatures slowly creeping in the air, and Amanda shows a great way to capture that fall feeling using beautifully soft and delicate colors. I just love the color combo along with the way that Amanda uses her printed binder chip, cut files, stickers, and beautiful, intricate doilies. This is definitely a layout that makes your heart feel warm and fuzzy.
I hope that Amanda’s work of art inspires you to step outside of your comfort zone and create something beautiful. Are you ready to begin? Let me escort you on over to her Happy Arty Days blog where Amanda will give you all the supplies you need to get started. You will love the inspiration that Amanda shares, and you won’t want to miss out on any of her fabulous projects. I highly recommend taking a minute (or more!) to visit her blog.
You Make Me Smile By Kathy Racoosin
I love to explore new trends in the crafting industry. A new technique that I discovered, created here by Kathy Racoosin, is alternating a stamp and adding watercoloring. The sunflower was stamped again, cut, and popped for more dimension. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, so this really brought a smile to my face especially on this dreary and rainy day. I love the way that Kathy colored them, so I say pop this card in a frame and call it a day! Who wouldn’t love to receive this priceless and treasured creation?
Kathy has prepared a wonderful video showing just how she created this beautiful card, along with tips and techniques on how she does some masking and stamping to create a taller sunflower for some impact on her card. Click here and I will escort you over to The Daily Marker so you can watch her short video. You will find all the supplies you’ll need to begin to create your own card. You will also walk away being so inspired by Kathy. Don’t forget to check out her other amazing projects.
