Happy Tuesday my crafty friends, I’m smiling because today is the day that I have the opportunity to share some of the must-have treasures on our show floor. Many of you know that I host the Creativity Center at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expos. One of my favorite projects that I get to share with you at the show is from Elizabeth Crafts Designs. It takes me to my happy place when I see the faces of those who have seen the magic for the first time. What you can do with their amazing microfine glitter and double-sided tape will blow your mind!
Here’s a photo of the project we made at the Creativity Center; I couldn’t resist sharing. When you can create this kind of detail with glitter and double-sided tape, you know that you are experiencing the best of the best.
Sorry, I got distracted in my excitement over their glitter! 🙂 What I really intend to share with you today are their gorgeous new Christmas designs. How lucky for us that they are available just in time to create some beautiful holiday cards.
Let’s start out with this gorgeous snowflake card; doesn’t it just scream simple elegance? If you plan on creating your own handmade cards for the holidays, this would be a great choice. It’s fast, easy, and oh-so-pretty. The Snowflake die comes in three sizes – the largest Snowflake is approximately 3.5” x 4.1” which is the one used on this card. I know that your creative mind is spinning with all the ways you can use this die, so click here and I will take you over to Elizabeth Crafts site so you can order your own.
Who says Christmas has to be red and green? I love the soft, romantic pink and white combination on this card. The die set used on this little beauty is titled Festive Glow. The set comes with 6 separate dies, making it oh-so-easy to change the design to suit your mood.
For those that prefer more of a traditional look, the Hang the Christmas Stockings die is perfect. Do you have someone in your life that just can’t wait for Christmas? Then you are going to love this gentle reminder that they can’t open their gift until Dec 25th (too cute)! This die set comes with 11 separate dies, making it so very versatile.
The Christmas Tree is my absolute favorite die set. There are so many ways to alter the trees. It’s hard to see the intricate design in this photo but each section of the tree has a different pattern. Tthe pieces are all separate so you can also adjust the size of the trees, big or small you are going to love them all! Each die also comes with an outline so you can have a plain tree without the design. The possibilities are endless. Be sure to check out the video that Els has prepared; it shows how easily this adorable card comes together. The second card was created using the Reindeer die set; this set has seven separate dies, making it so easy to create the perfect winter scene.
I hope that you have been inspired to get a head start on your holiday cards. We still have two shows left for the year and we would love to see you at one of them. Once you’re on the show floor you can find all of the dies at the Elizabeth Crafts booth. If you are unable to attend the show you can also find lots of must-have supplies at the Elizabeth Crafts Designs website; just click here and I will be happy to take you over for a visit. While you’re on the site be sure to checkout Els’s Technique Friday, you will never be left without inspiration. Els is the queen of paper crafting and her videos are amazing. There is good reason that she has 19K subscribers!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing week ahead of you.
Beautiful cards!
Glad you enjoyed them, I hope they inspired you to start your holiday cards.
These are very pretty! I love the super fine glitter and plan to pick some up at the show this year. Thanks for sharing!!
Their glitter is amazing. I hope to see you at the show, be sure to stop by the Creativity Center.
Love the candle especially. I will try to make it but I am sure it won’t look nearly as good.
I’m sure it will be beautiful. Be sure to check out Else’s Technique Friday’s, she always has great tips & techniques to share. Happy Holidays.
Yep, I’m a blingy girl! The double sided tape technique has me in one of those mind blown states! Lol I do run out of ideas and love anything white on white. That soft pink is great as that little wow factor! Had a ball at the Shaumburg expo this year! It was my first expo, but definitely not my last!
I agree, Elizabeth Crafts glitter is amazing and the tape technique is magical. Have you tried using a piece of lace as a mask in place of a die, due to the high quality of their glitter and the strength of the tape you can see every stitch in the lace, so pretty. Since you love the elegant look of white on white, try their cool or warm diamonds on white cardstock it would look amazing…
Glad you enjoyed the show, see you next year.
