Latest & Greatest: Card Making with Melissa Frances

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.

Our next show is this week in Sacramento, CA on October 20th & 21st. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with new products from our Latest & Greatest: Card Making class: Melissa Frances‘ Embellishment Sampler.

If you take the class, you will receive the following embellishment sampler:

Clock Charms, Thin Chips Sampler, Sequins, Sweet Life Words Stickers, and Watercolor Paper Pack

You will get a chance to work with Watercolor Paint, a Water Brush Pen, and a Candles Stencil from Melissa Frances in class too.

With the Watercolor Paper, Thin Chips Sampler and the Sequins, I created this Christmas card:

I also used the Watercolor Paint set, Water Brush Pen, and Wreath Stencil from Melissa Frances.

I used a permanent marker to outline the stencil on watercolor paper. Then, I painted the wreath with watercolors.

I added sequins around the wreath for the ornaments, added an inked Thin Chips sentiment in the center of the wreath, and added a baker’s twine bow to finish.

This Latest & Greatest: Stamping workshop featuring Melissa Frances Embellishments and Watercolors will also be taught at our upcoming show in Ontario. We would love to see you there!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Such a sweet card! I love that you used softer colors for your background. It really makes the wreath stand out. I need to remember to use stencils more often.

I have always loved using wreaths on a card. I like the way the colors stand out. I don’t have many stencils, but then again I am just getting into stenciling. Thank you for the beautiful card.
