Happy New Year to all of our wonderful friends and crafters!  One of my wishes for you in the new year is that you will find wonderful inspiration from our Weekly Scrapper posts.  I am excited to be sharing Saturdays with you!  With the holidays being over, if you are like me I am ready to start working on non-Christmas projects.  I hope today you will find inspiration in the projects I have to share with you.

Dream By Riikka Kovasin

This beautiful layout is all about pale colors and delightful dreams. This picture was taken in Tallinn, Estonia.  Who wouldn’t dream to visit this beautiful place?  What an amazing layout created by Riikka Kovasin.  I can definitely see this turned into a canvas to display in your home.  This piece of art is all about texture, technique, and a whole lot of imagination.  What’s not to love with the beautiful stamping, inking, dies, and so much more?

One of the things I love most about this layout is how beautiful it is, but also how enjoyable it is to create.  Riikka is one very talented lady, and I would like to thank her for the never-ending talent she shares with us.  If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting her blog, this is a must-have experience.  You will leave totally inspired to start your next project.  Click here and I will escort you over to Paperiliitin, where you will find a video on how Riikka created this masterpiece.  Have fun and let your imagination run wild!

Best Lemon Loaf With Cream Cheese Lemon Glaze By Jennifer Sattley

This Lemon Loaf is deliciously soft and moist with just the right amount of lemon flavoring, topped with a yummy cream cheese lemon glaze.  It is easy to make and always a big hit.Lemon Loaf With Cream Cheese Frosting

This is one of those recipes that you can make all year round and not just in the spring and summer.  It is the perfect balance of sweet citrus and will melt in your mouth.  Though it’s a great dish for any occasion, my favorite use for this recipe is as a dessert when I have family gatherings.  Whether it is a family reunion, a birthday party, or just an evening with friends, this lemon loaf is sure to be a big hit.  One reason I make it when there are guests around is that I really don’t trust myself alone with it! 🙂  Click here to get your recipe so you can begin to make your own.  I know your mouth must be watering just looking at the photo.  Enjoy!

Thank you for spending some time with me today.  With our busy schedules, I do appreciate you sharing part of your Saturday with me.  Weekends go by way too fast, so make the most of yours.  Have fun doing what you love most.  I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will see you back again next Saturday with more wonderful projects to share.

I love the card & matching envelop, but my mouth is already watering to try the lemon loaf. Lemon is my absolute favorite. The temperature here in the midwest is finally supposed to get a little warmer, so I’m going to the store to buy the ingredients I don’t have on hand. I’m thinking this is going to be one of my favorite recipes. Thanks so much for sharing. You made my day.
