Hey there Wandering Planner friends, I’m Becki, here to chat with you about stamping in traveler’s notebooks. I love working in my traveler’s notebooks. In fact, I use a traveler’s notebook every.single.day. I keep all of my to-do lists in a traveler’s notebook insert. Each month, I stamp the date at the top of each page in my traveler’s notebook. That’s where I keep a list of my daily tasks. I love crossing them off as I finish them. In the average traveler’s notebook, I fit two months worth of pages. A few days or weeks before the month starts, I stamp the dates/days in my traveler’s notebook.
I like to use a grid traveler’s notebook insert for my to-do lists. There are a couple of things that you need to keep in mind when stamping in a traveler’s notebook. You need to make sure that you have good quality ink and good quality paper. I like a memento black ink. Before you start stamping all over your pages, use a small stamp in the corner of a page (possibly in the back of the book) to make sure the ink doesn’t bleed through. I have a few stamp sets that I like to use when I stamp in my to-do list insert. 
I love the Dated Stamp and the Days of The Week sets from Elle’s Studio. These are both awesome very versatile stamp sets. 
These two stamp sets are from Sweet Stamp Shop. Thankful is one of the best stamp sets for adding gratitude to your daily planning routine. The Weekdays stamp set is perfect for stamping right next to the date. It’s nice to have the day of the week right at the top of my to-do list.
I start by stamping the month and the year at the top of each page with plain black ink. The grid lines are perfect for making the stamps straight on the page.
Then above the month and year I write in a pencil the day of the week and the date. I write these two things so that I can finish the stamping project much quicker.
My stamping is rarely perfect but I LOVE having this information stamped at the top of my to-do list in my traveler’s notebooks.
To finish these pages, I add a little bit of washi tape about two-thirds of the way down on the page. This divides my work tasks from my personal tasks. I like to add a few gratitude stamps and a few positive affirmations throughout my to-do lists. I love having these already stamped on my daily to-do lists.
It does take a few minutes for me to get all of the dates stamped in my traveler’s notebooks but it’s so nice to have it done. It makes my planning process so much easier and productive.

I don’t use a travelers notebook but I do use my planner. I recently attended the Wandering Planners get together at the Expo. They are wonderful and had some great ideas. I might just get a TN to play with in the next few weeks. I love the stamp sets you used!!
