Hello friends, Vicky here and I want to share with you the gorgeous cards that were the most appreciated cards and the winners from our card swap at the Santa Clara, California Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. It’s amazing to me how truly talented and creative you all are, I’m in awe.
The first card winner goes to Sarah Blackburn with her adorable pop-up 3-D Christmas elves card. She used the perfect brick red cardstock and embossed it to look like a wall. She stamped the precious elves and then colored them in reds and greens. Can you imagine opening this cute card up when it looks flat and then, WOW!! It pops right open. Awesome job, Sarah!!
The next card swap winner goes to Catherine with this gorgeous Victorian card with an actual turquoise hanky tucked inside. Her card was folded into a pocket, where she die cut this scalloped heart and then printed a Victorian image, cutting it out and centering the image on black oval cardstock. When you open up the pocket there is a gorgeous turquoise hanky inside, with a little note tucked in it saying “A pretty hanky to use as you please, just for fun or to cover a sneeze.” How amazing would it be to receive this gorgeous card and hanky? I would love it! Catherine, you are too awesome!
That’s all for me today but it’s so amazing to see the true talent out there in Santa Clara, California. If you, too, would love to share your creations please come to one of our card swaps the next time Scrapbook Expo is in your area. We would love to meet you and see your amazing creations!
Thank you for spending some time with me today.
Love always ❤️ Vicky
