Baroque Motif

I love the Baroque Motifs Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up. It’s a great one as a stand alone, or as a background image. I know its hard, but sometimes we need to separate the needs versus the wants when adding to our arsenal of crafting supplies. I think this stamp set falls into the need category, it’s so versatile, therefore can be used in many different ways.

This card is proof that sometimes less is more. I love the color combination of the pale blue and chocolate brown. I will admit that I am new to the stamping world. I’ve been a scrapbooker for over 15 years, yet was a little intimidated by the art of stamping. When I see a beautiful card like this, made basically with paper and ink, I can’t believe that I waited so long.

So to all those scrappers who have yet to take the plunge, dive in, the water is fine! We already have most of the supplies we need, so add a few stamp sets and you too will be hooked.
