Hand Stamped Eggs

I wanted to share a project that would be great for spring or Easter. When I came upon these adorable Hand Stamped Eggs, I knew I had found today’s inspiration. I would like to thank Jennifer Rizzo for her beautiful Spring design.

Hand Stamped Eggs

I love these paper mache eggs from the craft store. They are the perfect blank slate just waiting for you to bring it to life.

I pulled out my white paint, stamps and ink.

I painted my eggs and let them dry.

I inked up my stamp and carefully got to work. I found there is a technique to stamping on a not-so-flat- surface. It involves gently rocking the stamp around the surface without letting it slide. I did have to re-paint a time or two until I had the technique down.

Then I kind of rolled them across the surface of one of my big text stamps to get the background texture.

They aren’t perfect but I love how they look grouped together.

I love these! What a great way to accent a mantel or table with a pretty spring touch.

My hope is to inspire you to be fear when it comes to your creativity, to try new things and most important to have fun!

Thanks for visiting and have a very creative day.
