Beautiful Calla Lilly Card

Today we have a stunning, inspirational masterpiece created by Emma Lou Beechy. This card has so much sophistication and beauty. Who would ever have guessed that this was created with a rubber stamp? Such a beautiful and feminine card!

Calla Lilly

To create this card, stamp three of the largest lily petals on white cardstock using Sprout Memento ink. Sponge the petals with the same color, cut the petals using the matching diecut, and then cut off approximately 1/2″ from the bottom of the petals. Take a paper piercer and wrap the bottom of the lily around it to form a Calla Lily and secure it with zip dry glue.

Stamp the stems and leaves with Bamboo Leaves Memento ink and attach them to the bottom of the calla lilies to create a stem bouquet. Using cream cardstock, stamp the large elegant background on top with white colorbox ink and emboss with bridal embossing powder. Cut and emboss two of the large decorative corners and layer one of them on opposite corners on the cream cardstock. Layer the cream panel on a sage colored cardstock. Layer the flower and stems on top and add some white cardstock swirls and vintage flower buds in the calla lily centers. These lily petals are so fun to work with and also so versatile; they’d be beautiful on home décor projects, too.

Thanks so much for visiting and I wish you a very creative day!
