Imagine ATC Card

Whether you are the Queen Of Acrylic or just beginning to get your feet wet, you are going to love today’s inspiration piece. So simple yet so elegant at the same time. I’d like to thank Jamie Melissa Tardif  one of the very talented designers on the Clear Scraps Team for sharing her beautiful card with us.

Clear Scraps

I love how Jamie added a little bit of definition to the clear ATC Card by using the Shattered Glass stencil along with some Archival Black Ink from Ranger to create the simple, translucent background.

To create the gorgeous rainbow Butterfly Embelishment, Jamie used both Wild Plum & Stream Ranger Alcohol Inks – Simply place two drops of each randomly on the butterfly allowing the ink to spread. Then using a heat gun to spread and mix the colors. The trick to using the heat gun is knowing when to stop. You are working with acrylic & we all know how hot a heat gun can get.  So be careful. Jamie stamped the word “imagine”  and then adhered three tiny rhinestones using Glossy Accents – which is perfect for clear projects!

I hope you’ve been inspired to give this fun technique a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed. You can go directly to the Clear Scraps website to find both the clear ATC cards & the adorable Butterflies.

Thanks for visiting & I wish you a very creative day.
