There’s No Place Like Snow

One of my favorite things about winter is building a snowman. I must admit they never fail to bring a smile to my face. Simple, skinny, or plump snowmen – I just love them all! Today we have a wonderful tutorial on how to create this adorable card from Nichol Magouirk. A very big thank you to Nichol for sharing her very sweet snowman card with us.

There's No Place Like Snow

Nichol used Sea Glass cardstock for the base of her card, along with the Bundle of Stitches Die collection for the frames. She used Stitched Slopes and Hills dies to create her snow drifts. The stitch detail really adds some visual interest while giving projects an even more handcrafted look.

There's No Place Like Snow

For the falling snow, Nichol used a white embossing paste with the Falling Snow Stencil on her Sea Glass cardstock. Next she stamped the images from the Snow Gear stamp set and the Build A Snowman stamp set with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the line art images with her copics.

After assembling the die cut images, she adhered them to the card base using some foam adhesive behind some of the elements. She stamped a greeting from the Snow Gear stamp set.
